An Integrated Socio-technical approach for Self Adaptive Privacy Requirements Identification within Cloud Computing Environments

Cloud-InSPiRe project will go beyond the existing state of the art, by proposing an Interdisciplinary Approach for enabling the design of Self-adaptive privacy aware systems within CCE. Its innovation concerns the expansion of the research area of Self-Adaptive Privacy related Requirements within CCE, capturing the socio-technical concepts that should be considered for an integrated identification. The examination of the respective requirements under a unified framework, considering social, software and infrastructure factors that are critical for the successful privacy implementation, will highlight their independences in order to meet all stakeholders’ privacy needs, leading to an integrated Framework and a tool in beta version for Self-Adaptive Privacy design. In this regard, the key issue is the establishment of solid theoretical and methodological structures between social and technological aspects of privacy, by developing an innovative research design, based on approaches and tools of both sociological and privacy literature. This innovative approach can be of benefit for both the scientific community and IT industry, shedding light on factors that affect the successful incorporation of such systems.
