More specifically, the following key questions are sought to be answered:

• How can culture and creativity be elements of economic and social development for remote and island regions and cities?

• How can local and regional planning/design processes include culture and creativity in coherent development programs?

• How can a strategy be designed that will maximize the benefit from place branding tools?

Upon completion of the project, new “toolkits” will be created, which can be utilized by the bodies responsible for designing and implementing cultural policy at a local scale (regions, municipalities, etc.), with the aim of organizing and managing local cultural products in the best possible way.
