We are pleased to announce that Professor Christos Kalloniatis, Director of the PrivaSI Laboratory at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, was interviewed by the Aeolos TV channel, due to the recent seminar organized by the PrivaSI Laboratory in collaboration with Mr. Nikos Spanos, Director of the Association for Social Protection & Solidarity of the Municipalities of Mytilene & Western Lesvos and Mrs Chrystalla Kasapi, manager of the Open Care Center for the elderly.
The seminar was conducted by members of the Laboratory, Mr. Panagiotis Kargas Special Technical Laboratory Staff and Mr. Angelos Omeri undergraduate student, with the aim of training the members of the Association in the use of new technologies, and more specifically, in the use of smartphones.
As Professor Kalloniatis emphasized, participants’ interest exceeded all expectations. This initiative, which began as a simple action, has now been embraced by the local community and aspires to become an established institution.
