The third meeting of the European GDPrAPP project — Teaching GDPR to students through a serious game was successfully held on 8–9 October 2025 at the premises of the University of the Aegean in Mytilene.
The meeting was co-organised by the Privacy Engineering & Social Informatics Laboratory (PrivaSI Lab), directed by Professor Christos Kalloniatis of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean, and the Primary School of Ippeios, Lesvos.
Representatives of the project partners from France, Denmark and Portugal participated in the meeting.
Reviewing progress and planning the next steps
During the two-day meeting, partners presented the progress of the project’s activities and discussed the next steps in its implementation.
GDPrAPP aims to educate students, parents and teachers about the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) through an educational digital game, bringing data protection learning into an interactive serious-game experience.
