
4th Annual Greek-speaking Communication Labs Conference

The CCLabs Conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the latest innovations and trends, emerging challenges and potential solutions in the fields of communication, journalism and media. The aim of the Conference is to promote a fruitful and creative dialogue between the Communication and Information Laboratories of Greek-speaking universities, as well as other members of the academic and research community, on the opportunities created by emerging technologies and the need to use them responsibly to create a more equitable and sustainable future.
The CCLabs2025 Conference will once again provide an opportunity to bring together researchers and scientists across the entire spectrum of the subject of Journalism and Communication, with the aim of mapping, at an interdisciplinary level, the current situation in an era characterised by rapid changes in the context of the 5th Industrial Revolution (Industry 5.0).
The 5th Industrial Revolution, significantly differentiating from the 4th, is expected to influence the present and shape the future of communication by focusing on human-machine collaboration, facilitating joint decision-making and creativity, integrating sustainability into communication strategies, promoting personalisation in communication and continuous feedback.
The main organizers for 2025 are the Laboratory of Image, Sound and Cultural Representation and the Laboratory of Privacy Protection Technologies and Information Technology Applications in Social Sciences of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean.
