Kargas Panayiotis

Mr Panayiotis Kargas was born in Mytilini – Lesvos. He is a graduate of the Physics Department of the University of Crete. Mr Kargas has worked, till 1994, at the private sector. Later, till 1997, he worked at the Secondary Education, as Informatics Instructor. He then moved to the University of the Aegean, initially at the Department of Social Anthropology (1997-2000) and immediately after (2000) at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication as a member of the Special Technical Laboratory Staff (Ε.Τ.Ε.Π), a position he holds till the present day. Job Object: organizational manager, responsible for the installation and support of the PC laboratories, responsible for the Departmental PC Users support and for the installation and support of the technical supplies for the offices of the academic staff. Also, in charge of the planning, development, conservation and administration of the local internet infrastructure of the Department.
