Kick off

Recently, the PrivaSI Laboratory visited Fontainebleau as part of the GDPrApp Erasmus+ programme. This initiative aims to raise awareness among students, parents, and teachers about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to educate them on how to stay safe online, using an engaging mobile serious game as an educational tool.

The Director of the Laboratory and Professor at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, Dr. Christos Kalloniatis and the researchers Dr. Katerina Mavroeidi and Dr. Panagiotis Psomos, travelled to France to participate in the project’s first transnational meeting.

The purpose of this meeting was for project partners to present the progress made within their respective Work Packages, share key research findings, and exchange valuable insights regarding upcoming steps. Discussions focused on the implementation of current activities, alignment across teams, and planning for the next phases of development. This included detailed updates on research tasks, training resources,  dissemination efforts and engaged in discussions on identifying potential risks and outlining mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution in the upcoming phases of the project. These collaborative discussions helped the partners stay organised and plan the next steps of the project together.

We would like to sincerely thank all our project partners for their collaboration, as well as Collège Elsa Triolet  for their warm hospitality.

The implementation of the GDPrApp is being funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
